Caring for the Environment

At The Ashley Press we will always look at ways to improve our environmental performance in ways such as:

Ensure that we comply with existing and future environmental legislation

We only use where possible Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or PEFC accredited paper and boards.

We minimise, re-use and recycle all materials wherever practical for example:

• All waste paper is collected regularly and recycled
• Litho printing plates are recycled as are digital print consumables
• Plate processing chemical are collected through a recognised waste disposal contractor
• All wooden pallets are returned for re-use
• We even use old ink tins for mixing and storing custom spot colour inks
• Paper wrapping our materials arrive in is used instead of bubble wrap. Simple but a great way of reusing materials and recycling them.
